Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH)

Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH) is an interfaith, multiracial alliance of over 60 congregations, labor unions, and community groups in Metro Nashville. NOAH tackles issues like affordable housing, criminal justice, and public transit by organizing large-scale public meetings and accountability town halls with city officials. At these events, hundreds of residents—diverse in race and faith—stand united as NOAH leaders ask mayors, council members, and school board representatives to commit to specific solutions. The coalition’s grassroots campaigns have led to policy wins such as better funding for transit and policing reforms. NOAH’s power comes from informed citizens speaking collectively in morally grounded forums, holding power brokers to their promises. Learn more on the NOAH coalition’s website.
