Roosevelt Network

The Roosevelt Network is a nation-wide organization of college students passionate about policy and public service. Supported by the Roosevelt Institute, this network has active chapters on 100+ campuses where students research issues and propose solutions. Roosevelt chapters regularly convene “10 Ideas” panels, policy hackathons, and campus town halls to discuss topics ranging from climate change to college affordability:contentReference[oaicite:16]{index=16}:contentReference[oaicite:17]{index=17}. Through these events, students refine their ideas and publish them in Roosevelt’s annual journal of student policy proposals. The network’s progressive values trace back to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s legacy of bold public action. Roosevelt Network also trains students in advocacy – many chapters host visits from elected officials or organize trips to the state legislature to present their ideas. By treating students as policy experts of the future and creating forums for them now, the Roosevelt Network is grooming the next generation of civic leaders.
